Nelly Gocheva

Global Editorial Director, T Brand Studio International, The New York Times

Nelly Gocheva heads up editorial at T Brand Studio in London – the global branch of The New York Times’s in-house OMMA and Digiday award-winning brand marketing and native advertising unit – where she oversees all international content.

She joined The New York Times from Monocle magazine, where besides covering luxury retail, culture and design, she launched and led the Toronto bureau, and was founding editor of the on-going Travel Guide Series.

Gocheva’s editorial and branded work has appeared in The New York Times, Monocle, The Independent, SkyNews, and J. Walter Thompson among others. She has worked on consultancy and branded content projects with a range of clients, including LVMH, Nike, Hyundai, Philips, UBS, Persol, BMW, Pictet, Statoil, Samsung, Turkish Airlines, the City of Rio de Janeiro, the Philippines Tourism Promotions Board.

She is also a guest lecturer at London’s City University and The Cardiff School of Journalism.
