Ita O'Brien is the UK’s leading Intimacy Coordinator, creator of the Intimacy On Set Guidelines and founder of Intimacy On Set Ltd. She has nearly 40 years professional experience in the industry, as a dancer, actor, movement teacher and movement director. For the last six years, Ita has been developing best practice when working with intimacy, scenes with sexual content and nudity, in film, TV, and theatre - the 'Intimacy on Set' guidelines. Ita has pioneered the role of the Intimacy Coordinator, a role that is now being adopted by many of the world’s leading production houses, including HBO, Netflix, and BBC.
